This traditional kung fu class is on the internal martial art Xingyiquan. In this course students will develop the body method, structure, and internal engine behind one of the most efficient internal martial arts. Students will learn the ancient principles of the Five Elements as means of health, philosophy, and combat.

Sesnsory Innovations: EveryBody Aquatics- Ages 7+
Sensory Innovations presents, EveryBody Aquatics! This program is an adaptable, inclusive, full-body workout designed to improve overall fitness and sensory regulation in a fun, welcoming, and judgment-free environment. Led by physical and occupational therapists, the class uses the natural resistance and buoyancy of water to provide a challenging yet regulating workout for people of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities. Classes will be held in a swimming pool at Sun Oaks. All classes will be guided with opportunities for participants to take sensory breaks as needed!
*1 support personnel can join the registrant for safety. Parents, guardians or caregivers fall in the support personnel category*
*Please bring a life jacket if floatation support is needed*

Get Fit classes will help you achieve the fitness you desire in the manner that is most suitable for you. For those who wish to work out in the privacy of your own home, Rhonda will send out at several videos a week to all participants for the 6 weeks. Each video is approximately 20-55 minutes long and can be viewed at any time that is convenient for you. Set to fun music and beautiful backdrops, you will find yourself coming back for more! The video sessions are designed for all fitness levels and offer a complete workout with options for cardio, toning, strength training, and yoga. Internet access is required for private links to YouTube.
In addition to the videos, Rhonda will teach 6 in-person classes. Sign up with a friend for a fun way to connect during the busy week! Bring your yoga mat and water bottle.

Guided by knowledgeable docents, the Underground Tour brings Sacramento’s rich history to life through fascinating stories of floods, fires, and early city development. After the 11:30am tour, you will have free time to explore ending the afternoon in Downtown Sacramento. This includes the ticket for the Underground Tour and transportation to and from Sacramento!

This course provides an awareness of fireline and incident safety to hired vendors who plan to engage in wildland fire suppression and other incident support activities. It includes an overview of hazards and safety issues, entrapment avoidance, incident organization, how to recognize and mitigate risk, maintain safe work practices while working under an agency supervision, fire shelter deployment, and case studies.
Designed For: Hired vendors working with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) or the United States Forest Service (USFS) on any active incident, including water tender operators, heavy equipment drivers or operators, crew bus drivers, vehicles with a driver, mechanics, fallers, and swampers.
Authority: California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) and United State Forest Service (USFS) agreements
Standard: State Fire Training (SFT) requires every student to attend the entire course, participate in classroom and group discussions, complete and pass all activities, and complete an oral evaluation.

Volleyball Camp: High School Girls, Grades 9th - 12th
This is a fun, fast-paced, skill-oriented, character- and team-building experience! Correct technique and fundamentals will be taught and reinforced through practice.
All skill levels are welcome and participants will receive group and individualized instruction according to their level of skill and experience. Specialized instruction will be made available for setters, middle blocker/hitters, outside hitters, and liberos/defensive players.
Basic through advanced instruction will be covered for the following skills: * Passing * Setting/Overhand Passing * Serving * Spiking and Offensive Plays * Blocking * Defense * Game Strategies for Offense and Defense.
Campers should wear comfortable clothing, athletic shoes, and knee pads. Please leave all jewelry and electronics at home.
IMPORTANT: the campus cafeteria will be closed the month of June and July. Campers should bring their own lunch, snacks, beverage, etc., and their own cooler.
