CHINESE MEDICINE: ANCIENT MEDICINE FOR MODERN HEALTH Arguably, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the most ancient medicine continuously in use in the world. Join Dr. Levings in this brief survey of the historical development of TCM into its current form; its five branches of treatment, including acupuncture; and the role it might play in your health restoration and maintenance. By the end of this course, the student will:

1. Have an introductory knowledge of the difference between Chinese medicine and western medicine.

2. Will have a basic idea of how Chinese medicine and western medicine might be integrated for best outcomes.

3. Will be able to independently practice the QiGong exercise Opening the Four Gates of Energy.
