Feeling Safe, Being Safe

Emergencies happen when we least expect them. Knowing what to do in advance so you can react quickly allows people to feel safer and be more prepared during an emergency. Feeling Safe, Being Safe teaches you what you need to know to prepare yourself, your family and your pets for an emergency evacuation. You will learn how to pack a “Go Bag” and the other steps you can take now to ease the stress of an emergency evacuation. You will also learn important insurance information for renters and homeowners, the three levels of evacuation and the importance of planning now. This class was designed for people with disabilities, but it is useful to anyone concerned with being prepared during an emergency.
