The Great Dickens Christmas Faire is a one-of-a-kind immersive holiday adventure into Victorian London ~  an elaborate holiday party with hundreds of costumed players performing and interacting with patrons in over 140,000 square feet of theatrically-lit music halls, pubs, dance floors, and festive shops. It's a twilight evening in Charles Dickens' London Town - a city of winding lanes filled with colorful characters from both literature and history. Enticing aromas of roasted chestnuts and hearty foods fill the air. Gourmet chefs offer delicious foods from around the world, including English bangers and fish 'n' chips, exotic Greek delicacies, French onion soup, and enticing desserts. Cries of street vendors hawking their wares ring out above the bustling crowd. Dozens of lamplit shops are filled to overflowing with handmade gifts. The Dickens Christmas Fair is a treasured Bay Area tradition since 1970 and a splendid way to celebrate the holidays.

Schedule:

• 5:45am - Load motorcoach
• 6:00am - Depart from Shasta College Redding Main Campus, North Parking Lot
• 6:30am - Pick up Red Bluff passengers at Adobe Chevron Mini Mart, north Main Street 
• 10:00am - Arrive at the event, located at the Cow Palace in Daly City
• 3:00-3:15pm - Load Motorcoach & Depart
• 6:00-6:45pm - Dinner stop 
• 8:30pm - Drop off Red Bluff passengers
• 9:00pm - Return to Redding Main Campus, North Parking Lot
• Note: return time may vary depending on Bay Area traffic

Location: 

• Redding Passengers: meet at the Shasta College Redding Main Campus, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, in the North Parking Lot. Parking permits are not required. 
• Red Bluff Passengers: meet at the Adobe Chevron Mini Mart located at 2370 Main St, Red Bluff (important: please do not park in the Chevron's main customer parking only area.

Fee: $135 (includes the ticket of admission in to the event)
