The Art of Great Leadership

Leadership can often feel like a tricky juggling act, and then someone throws a running chainsaw into the mix! While hundreds of books have been written on the subject, wouldn’t it be great to dialogue and connect with other leaders as you explore some basic fundamental principles of great leadership?! This 6-session course is designed to accomplish that goal through dynamic facilitation and interactive conversation.

Class 1: Being a Culture Creator - Withness! Intentionally creating a culture that communicates “we are in this together!” • Making Our Team Safe - Making Our Team Open - Making Our Team Harmonize

Class 2: Clarity is Your Best Friend Being committed to making communication, expectations and feedback as clear as possible • Roles and Expectations - Good Feedback - Control Centers

Class 3: The Twin Muscles of Discipline & Courage Working together to create team movement and sustain momentum • Digging in Together - Failure is Not Fatal - Expect and Welcome Conflict

Class 4: Navigating Healthy Conflict Managing conflict so it’s productive and not destructive • Assume Good Intent - Owning Your Own - Finding Collective Forward

Class 5: The Power of Empowerment Encouraging and releasing others to live into the full potential of their own power. • Acknowledging Power - Room to Roam - Collaborative Creativity

Class 6: Renewal is the Glue Discovering and engaging in practices that make the pouring out process sustainable. • Recognizing Uniqueness - Healthy Patterns - Modeling Good Self-care
