The purpose of the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification program is to recognize through certification, individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of material handling at the front-line (entry level to front-line supervisor) through successful completion of the certification assessments. The goal of the CLT certification program is to raise the level of performance of logistics technicians both to assist the individuals in finding higher wage jobs and to help employers ensure their workforce increases the company's productivity and competitiveness.

The CLT program consists of two parts: 

  • Foundational-Level Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) Certificate
  • Mid-Level Technical CLT Certification

This course covers introductions to the global supply chain, the logistics environment, material handling equipment, safety principles, quality control, workplace communications, teamwork/conduct, and computers in logistics.

Get Fit! classes combine simple cardio, strength, and yoga/pilates for a complete body workout. Shape, tone, and burn unwanted calories to upbeat music as you work through the course and watch your body Get Fit!

Course Outline

This course will provide participants with a solid foundation of product management strategies and tools to successfully manage the project life cycle. Participants will learn how to effectively create circumstances that inspire their team members to achieve the desired project results. This course will provide an opportunity for participants to apply problem-solving tools to manage project challenges and conflicts. Participants will also develop skills to facilitate a continuous quality improvement process.

Meet Your Facilitator 

Dr. Barbara A. Sweet is President/CEO of Everyday HR and Learning Transfer Institute.  Dr. Sweet has over 20 years of business executive experience working with all levels of employees in the design, development, coaching, and execution of business and human resources strategies and initiatives.

Dr. Sweet has served as a lead business advisor for SBDC and Goldman Sachs small business programs and has helped executives develop detailed and successful business plans and execute strategic initiatives to grow their businesses. She has also served as a panel expert for Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Metrics Committee. 

Dr. Sweet is an accomplished HR speaker and is the author of The Positive Transfer of Learning from Training to Changed Behaviors at the Job. Dr. Sweet is a certified DDI Instructor and has served as a faculty member at University of Phoenix's MBA and BA programs.  She received her doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, her MBA from University of Redlands, and her BS in Economics from Rutgers University.
