Get Fit! - Summer Session

Tired of searching the web looking for fitness videos? Try these workout programs taught by our very own trusted fitness instructor, Rhonda Nelson, who has over 30 years of teaching experience. Choose from her popular Get Fit! Program or her Yoga series or take them both! Work out in the privacy of your own home at your individual fitness level at a time that is convenient for you!

Get Fit! classes combine simple cardio, strength, and yoga/pilates for a complete body workout. Shape, tone, and burn unwanted calories to upbeat music as you work through the course and watch your body Get Fit!

Links to two new videos will be sent to students each week for the six weeks.

$39 per each 6-week session

Recommended materials: Dumbbells, Yoga mat or rug

Yoga classes are easy to follow and are centered around themes, such as Yoga for Balance, Yoga for Stress Relief, Yoga for Happiness, etc.  You will receive links to twelve Yoga classes for your enjoyment at your convenience during the six weeks.  The instructor provides positive, encouraging messages throughout and gives clear instruction for the beginner or intermediate yoga student.  Finish the class refreshed and relaxed, ready for more!

 This course is offered online via Zoom. Prior to the class starting, the instructor will email all the registrants a link to sign-in to their Zoom class.  Zoom is a free, interactive online platform, you do not have to have a Zoom account to attend a class being offered through Zoom. You will need a computer or laptop with Internet connection, with computer audio or a computer and a phone.

This valuable course will equip the participants with the proper tools needed to read and write emails. The participants learn to convert an email into a meeting, appointment or event directly into the calendar. The participants learn to convert an email into a task. They will learn to direct emails to recipients from the address book(s). The participants learn email etiquette for a business environment. They learn to prioritize emails, as well as categorize it.

This valuable course will equip the participants more useful tools needed to have a good handle on email, calendar and tasks. They learn to create rules and alerts to automate actions on emails received or sent. The participants learn to create quick steps for email handling. They learn to create templates. The participants learn to create letters, envelopes and labels using mail merge. They learn to organize the Inbox and archive old emails.

This valuable course will prepare the participants with the proper tools to create a professional-looking presentation of slides to deliver to any audience. They will be able to understand about proper branding requirements. The participants will learn to use the different layouts, apply themes and formatting. They will learn to automate their presentation with transitions and timing. The participants will learn to apply animation to slide objects. They will learn to rehearse proper timings for show.

This course will equip participants with the proper tools needed to organize all pertinent files, objects and links to files and folders that can be stored in one location. The participants will create notebooks with pages on any topic, subject or project. They will learn to integrate OneNote with other programs. They will learn to send a print job to OneNote. The participants will learn to collaborate with other users.
