Yoga! Hybrid Series: Video and In-Person

Gentle Yoga

This gentle yoga class offers a hybrid experience that blends the flexibility of online learning with the personal connection of in-person sessions.  Designed for all levels, the class focuses on nurturing movements, deep stretching, and mindful breathing techniques to enhance relaxation and promote well-being.  Rhonda will teach an in-person class each week, along with sending you two yoga video links each week that you can do at home or wherever you get the internet, at a time that is convenient for you.  Treat yourself to some self-care and find the calm energy and focus just what you need to reset and de-stress.  Bring your yoga mat and water bottle.  Internet access is required for private links to YouTube.

Fusion Yoga

Fusion yoga blends traditional yoga with other forms of fitness such as light cardio, pilates, balance, and strength training. The focus will be on combining the four components of fitness into one class for a complete workout set to fun music.  Rhonda will teach in-person classes on Monday evenings during this session, and will also send you two videos that you can do at home at a time that is convenient for you.  Access will be provided through private links to YouTube.

GET FIT!  Hybrid Series:  Video & In-person

Get Fit classes will help you achieve the fitness you desire in the manner that is most suitable for you. For those who wish to work out in the privacy of your own home, Rhonda will send out at least five videos a week to all participants for the 8 weeks. Each video is approximately 20-55 minutes long and can ve viewed at any time that is convenient for you. Set to fun music and beautiful backdrops, you will find yourself coming back for more! The video sessions are designed for all fitness levels and offer a complete workout with options for cardio, toning, strength training, and yoga. Internet access is required for private links to YouTube.

In addition to the videos, Rhonda will teach 8 in-person classes. Sign up with a friend for a fun way to connect during the busy week! Bring your yoga mat and water bottle.

Classroom time will be focused on gaining knowledge with the instructor providing an overview of general travel systems, helpful information sources, and learning how and where to obtain required travel documents, such as passports, international driver's licenses, visa's, and more.

6- Hour CA Notary Public Course and Exam

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and professional skills necessary to become a proficient California notary public and prepare for the State’s examination. 

In addition, this course will satisfy the California State’s mandatory education requirement of reviewing notary laws and practices for current notary public professionals seeking reappointment.  The successful applicant will become a more valuable employee or be able to start his/her own community business. 

California State Proctors will administer the Notary Examination at the end of the class. 

IMPORTANT: Class starts promptly at 8:00am. Please check in at the door prior to 8:00. Due to the mandated time to be in class, students who arrive after 8:30 will NOT be admitted, no exceptions. No refunds will be granted.

SUNDAY of LABOR DAY WEEKEND!The Rotary Club of Mt. Shasta will host the 37th Mt. Shasta Blackberry Music Festival on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from noon - 6 PM. Check back here often as more event details are frequently added.

The event is held at beautiful Shastice Park with spectacular views of Mt. Shasta and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the scenery. Along with our famous and hugely popular blackberry pie sales, music offerings, and children's games, food and craft vendors will join us in the expanded space Shastice Park provides.

OSHA 10 (Tehama Campus)

This course provides students with knowledge of workplace safety and health standards as shown by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Over 10 hours of instruction, students will learn to identify and mitigate common hazards, including electrical, chemical, and ergonomic risks, and know the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers. Those entering the workforce in different industries, this course emphasizes safety awareness and incident prevention.

Upon completion, students will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry This OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course provides students with essential workplace safety and health knowledge, focusing on hazard identification, prevention, and OSHA regulations. The course is designed for individuals working in general industry settings such as manufacturing, healthcare, warehousing, and retail. Throughout the course, students will explore key topics, including an introduction to OSHA, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, walking and working surfaces, electrical safety, hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), machine guarding, and emergency action plans. Instruction will be delivered through interactive lectures, case studies, and real-world scenarios to reinforce hazard recognition and safe work practices. Students will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry completion card, demonstrating their understanding of workplace safety principles. This credential enhances employability and ensures compliance with safety standards in various industries.
