OSHA 10 (Tehama Campus)

This course provides students with knowledge of workplace safety and health standards as shown by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Over 10 hours of instruction, students will learn to identify and mitigate common hazards, including electrical, chemical, and ergonomic risks, and know the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers. Those entering the workforce in different industries, this course emphasizes safety awareness and incident prevention.

Upon completion, students will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry This OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course provides students with essential workplace safety and health knowledge, focusing on hazard identification, prevention, and OSHA regulations. The course is designed for individuals working in general industry settings such as manufacturing, healthcare, warehousing, and retail. Throughout the course, students will explore key topics, including an introduction to OSHA, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, walking and working surfaces, electrical safety, hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), machine guarding, and emergency action plans. Instruction will be delivered through interactive lectures, case studies, and real-world scenarios to reinforce hazard recognition and safe work practices. Students will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry completion card, demonstrating their understanding of workplace safety principles. This credential enhances employability and ensures compliance with safety standards in various industries.

Already familiar with the basics of Country Swing and ready for more? This class is designed for beginner-level dancers who want to build on their foundation with added footwork variety, timing variations, and smoother lead-and-follow techniques. We’ll start with a brief review of core steps, then dive into playful turns, musicality, and how to adapt your movement to different tempos and styles of country music. You’ll learn how to dance with greater connection, control, and confidence — all in a fun, relaxed environment that encourages you to grow at your own pace. No partner needed — just bring your love for country music and a willingness to learn!

This class is perfect for dancers who are comfortable with the basics and want to explore deeper layers of the dance — all while keeping things fun, supportive, and accessible. We'll start with a quick review of foundational steps, then expand into more dynamic footwork, syncopated rhythms, and explore different salsa timing styles like On1 and On2. You’ll sharpen your technique, improve your musicality, and begin to develop your own flavor and style on the dance floor. Whether you’ve just completed an intro class or have danced a little before, this is a great next step to grow your confidence and keep the salsa spark alive!

American Heart CPR, First Aid, AED (Tehama Campus)

CPR, First Aid, and AED is important to a community because it helps outfit individuals with life-saving skills that can be used in emergency situations, often used before professional medical help arrives. Immediate intervention, such as performing CPR or using an AED during a cardiac arrest, can increase the chances of survival and hopefully recovery. These skills give a community member a way to act confidently during accidents, injuries, or sudden health crises, having a safer and more resilient environment.

Two Year Certification Included
