This course will consist of a flight of beers and an historical lecture regarding the significant events around the origination of the particular style of beer for that week. Rather than looking just at the history of beer, this class connects beer to history more broadly and gives you a taste of the past at the same time. Styles of beer and historical events include:
February:
Porters and Russia
Pilsners and Bohemia
Sours and the earliest civilizations
Reds and the British Isles
June:
Kölsch and the Holy Roman Empire
Saisons and Normandy
Wheat Beer and Bavaria
Rice beers and China
Class fee includes four flights of beers! One flight per week that relates to that week's topic!
NOTE: You must be 21 years, or older, to attend this course.

Sesnsory Innovations: EveryBody Aquatics- Ages 7+
Sensory Innovations presents, EveryBody Aquatics! This program is an adaptable, inclusive, full-body workout designed to improve overall fitness and sensory regulation in a fun, welcoming, and judgment-free environment. Led by physical and occupational therapists, the class uses the natural resistance and buoyancy of water to provide a challenging yet regulating workout for people of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities. Classes will be held in a swimming pool at Sun Oaks. All classes will be guided with opportunities for participants to take sensory breaks as needed!
*1 support personnel can join the registrant for safety. Parents, guardians or caregivers fall in the support personnel category*
*Please bring a life jacket if floatation support is needed*

Oregon Shakespeare Festival- Henry IV- Part One
King Henry IV is in trouble: a faction of his allies, including a valiant youngster named Hotspur, have turned on him and are now gunning for his throne. And his own son, Prince Hal, is no help, spending all his time languishing with his low-life drinking buddies and a corrupt knight, Falstaff, who holds a strange sway over the kid. Will Hal ever come around and act like the king he will be one day? Shakespeare’s iconic history play is a stirring coming-of-age story, filled with humor, romance, and intrigue. Associate Artistic Director Rosa Joshi (Henry V, Julius Caesar) directs. This includes the ticket for the play and transportation to and from Ashland!

Guided by knowledgeable docents, the Underground Tour brings Sacramento’s rich history to life through fascinating stories of floods, fires, and early city development. After the 11:00am tour, you will have free time to explore ending the afternoon in Downtown Sacramento. This includes the ticket for the Underground Tour and transportation to and from Sacramento!
