Mass Casualty Incidents, Management, and Triage
Students will review the S.T.A.R.T. Triage System as well as discuss the SALT Triage System. A review of the Incident Management System and National Incident Management System and how they are incorporated into a MCI event. Case studies will be explored along with practicing skills of triage, managing the scene of a MCI, and helpful suggestions on how to better manage these scenes.
The course will start with an introduction to the online platform the asynchronous and interactive course will be presented on. Once completed you will then dive right into the topic of mass/multiple casualty incidents as we explore the following items together:
- S.T.A.R.T. Triage
- S.A.L.T. Triage
- ICS
- NIMS
- Managing a MCI
- Case studies
- Triage Practice
- MCI Scenario
Since this course is asynchronous you will have 24/7 access to the course during the start and end dates for the course. Though the course is asynchronous, you will also be able to contact the instructor during the course to discuss the topic as needed by you or the instructor. In addition to receiving a certificate of completion for this course you will also receive a certificate from the National Disaster Life Support Foundation on SALT Mass Casualty Training.

SBDC - Small Business QuickBooks - Series

Small Business QuickBooks Series
This is a four part series in which you can pick and choose which classes you need. Each class description is listed below!
Class 1 - Bookkeeping Basics & Getting Started with QuickBooks Online - This 2 hour class covers accounting 101, terminology, debits/credits, Chart of Accounts and then which QuickBooks online is best for your business.
Class 2 - Setting Up QuickBooks and Creating Customized Forms - This 2 hour class offers how to completely set up your QuickBooks with best practices, finding your way around and getting ready to do business in QuickBooks.
Class 3 - Accounts Receivable in QBO - This 2 hour class offers a complete AR process from, making sales in QuickBooks, invoicing vs sales receipts, receiving payments, using credit cards and bank feeds
Class 4 - Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, Reports in QBO - This 2 hour class offers a complete AP process from entering and paying bills in QuickBooks, cutting checks in QuickBooks, paying bills through bank and credit cards. Then we reconcile bank accounts and end with a review of all the cool reports that QuickBooks gives you and why reports are important."
